It makes us all feel old when we look back to the arrival of the Dreamcast, but it's nice to see that the world still shows excitement when it comes to celebrating its most iconic titles. It's been 25 years since Jet Set Radio first arrived in our living rooms, and we've already seen companies like THEM Skates getting into the birthday spirit by releasing custom skates in the style of the game.
Now, Sega have teamed up with Hawthorne to create 2 new scents with themed character-cases. Meet Mango Riot based on Beat, and Phantom Melon based on the get-up of The Noise Tanks gang.

Let's kick off with Mango Riot, which comes in a bottle complete with Beat's head and torso and a squashed spraypaint can. Hawthorne describe the scent as a 'sun-splashed, fruity fragrance inspired by the bright, fast energy of the GG’s.' It has hints of mango, pineapple, and bright air with chilled musk, representing the thrill of skating at golden hour.

The bottle for Phantom Melon looks amazing, with a scent that has 'muskmelon and honeydew ice over sharp geranium water and cold CO₂ air, wrapped in stainless steel and magnetic musk'. It sounds like an odd concoction, but one that is intriguing and has a darker, more mysterious feel to it.
Both fragrances cost £46 each and are available to order from Hawthorne now!
