Any N64 gamer knows just how amazing WCW/nWo Revenge is. It's the 26th best-selling N64 game behind Mario Party 3, and undoubtedly one of the best wrestling titles on the N64. Hollywood Hulk Hogan (the best Triple H, sorry Paul) pointing at Goldberg with Kevin Nash and Raven lurking in the background; that cover was everything, and the game was superb.
What if I told you that there was now a definitive version of the game thanks to Ssark & Co - WCW/nWo Revenge Starrcade Edition. If you were a WCW fan back in the 90s, then this enhanced ROM hack of the 1998 powerhouse will feel like all of your Christmasses have been leg dropped at once.
This unofficial, fan-made ROM hack comes with some great new features and textures made by Wallywood, as well as more wrestlers to play with. I know, that's the main thing you were waiting to hear, and now the likes of Ric Flair, Ultimate Warrior, The Four Horsemen, and many more fighters from the Nitro era have joined the roster.
There are over 200 ported and custom taunts/moves added into the game, with every playable wrestler now boasting 4 different costumes as seen in the ring and new custom sound effects. If you loved Revenge back in the day, then Starrcade Edition is going to change your life (and that's a fact!).
