I did say a few days ago the Retroid Pocket Duo news would come thick and fast, and here we are with the final announcement of the pre-order date. We already know the pricing, the specifications, the colour choice, their new stylus and now not only pre-order dates but shipping times too.
So, what's the crack? You will be able to pre-order both the Retroid Pocket Duo and the Retroid Pocket Duo Lite (save these links) on September 11th at 21:30 EST, which works out to the following times in different zones around the world:

The Retroid Pocket Duo Lite will be the first to begin shipping; this starts on the 17th September 2026, whereas the more powerful Retroid Pocket Duo will begin shipping in "mid-October". Typically in the past, Retroid have been fast to ship, but many customers have had to wait over 6 weeks to receive their recently released Retroid Pocket Nova, so I usually say you'd get these within two weeks of the shipping date, but sadly that's not the case anymore.
The best thing to do is get your pre-order in as quickly as possible, because I know for a fact that there will be thousands of these being ordered across the globe. I ordered some Pocket Nova accessories 7 weeks ago, and they still have not arrived yet... So, please prepare for a long wait for the Pocket Duo to arrive.

They have early bird discount codes on their listing pages. "DUO" will get you $20 off the Pocket Duo, and "DUOLITE" will get you $14 off the Pocket Duo Lite.
