Terranigma is back after over three decades. By the time the game returns in 2027, it will have been 32 years since it first launched back in 1995, and now a whole new generation of gamers get to check it out for the first time, and fans of the series can relive the magic all over again on modern consoles. We covered the initial announcement last month, and you all went mad for some updated Terranigma action. And now, details of what's available when you pre-order the Gaia and SteelBook editions have been revealed!
Honestly, Terranigma is a classic game. As all the official descriptions show, Kamui Fujiwara's hand-pixelled artwork was, and very much still is, phenomenal. The worlds are enchanting, the soundtrack keeping you pumped as you move into tense combat situations. It's hard to believe that there will be a whole generation of people who have never even heard of this game, but those of you who are delving back into the history of games like Final Fantasy, Fire Emblem, and Chrono Trigger need to get a pre-order in immediately.

Clear River Games announced the Gaia & SteelBook editions of the game today for Nintendo Switch 2 (which has been confirmed by Clear River Games to work on the Switch 1), Xbox Series X, and PS5, and the extras you get in the Gaia Edition are immense! You'll get:

It features new artwork by Kamui Fujiwara throughout and looks amazing. You'll also get the standard case with the foil artwork, as well as the game coming on an actual game card, which is the case for all three releases. The Gaia Edition costs £168.

The SteelBook edition costs £55 and comes with:
