Miyoo have been teasing us for a while now with little shots of the new Miyoo Mini Flip, with a picture comparison of the Mini Flip next to the Flip dropping back in May and showing the world what looked like a smaller version of the ANBERNIC RG35XXSP.
For all intents and purposes, it looks like someone used an engorgio charm on the Funkey S, one of our favourite mini handhelds, and I reckon I could comfortably fit this in every pocket from my jeans to my suit waistcoat pocket - you never know when a wedding is going to get boring!
Thanks to Reddit user tenlevels, we now know that the Miyoo Mini Flip is coming in White, SNES Grey, Pink, and Yellow. This picture of what I'm dubbing the Miyoo Mini Flip Fellowship means that we should be getting closer to a release date, though I don't have any other information on a price or a solid release date at this time.
How do you prefer it with or without sticks? It comes early and is smaller 😳 the Miyoo Mini Flip

We can, however, speculate on its gubbins Miyoo claim that the Mini Flip will use the same hardware as the Miyoo Mini V4 and boast the same 1.2ghz dual core processor. It means it will also have 128MB of RAM and a 1900mah battery, and be compatible with Onion, alongside boasting WiFi capabilities.
Will people go for the Mini over the Miyoo Flip, however? I think for users who just want a simple-to-use emulator for Game Boy and early D-pad-oriented games, it'll be a no-brainer. I know a lot of people aren't a fan of the weirdly placed thumbsticks on the Flip, but with the Powkiddy V90s bringing its retro look to the table, the competition is pretty tight. Hopefully, we'll be getting one into the office to test out for you soon - the SNES Grey is looking very swish, but we wouldn't say no to any of them!
