Have you ever played Pokémon Red & Blue and thought that you need some extra Pokémon and didn't want the game to end as quickly with an additional postgame section? Of course you have - they're the OGs, after all.
Pokémon RBY Nova has arrived from creator ZetaPheonix and brings 190 Pokémon into the fray, made up of Gen 1 Pokémon and adjacent critters from future games. There are two versions of the game you can choose to play: the Classic version with the original move pool as is, and a Modern interpretation with over 70 moves added into the mix.
The main storyline of the ROM hack is the same, though it has been rebalanced to create a level progression that feels more sensible. There's also a new postgame with 2 new areas to explore, Gym Leader & League rematches, and much more. All 190 Pokémon are available to capture without having to trade too.
ZetaPheonix has implemented a variety of bug fixes and quality-of-life updates, such as quick access to HM Moves and Key Items, as well as challenge run options and ways to tailor their gaming experience.
