I've been following the Dreamcast scene very closely of late, checking back regularly to see which the next N64 game would be that got ported to the console. I couldn't believe the progress with Mario Kart on the system and how well it was all working, and with so many other titles heading to SEGA's swansong console, it got me wondering whether Ocarina of Time could be next.

Instead, another one of my childhood favourite games, LylatWars, aka Star Fox 64, is now running on the Dreamcast. What's even more impressive is that it only took Jnmartin84, the brains behind the Mario Kart 64 port, 2 days to get it up and running!

Jnmartin84 has brought Doom 64 to the Dreamcast and got Nintendo's iconic racer working on there with great results. He's even added Sonic into the mix, too. But to get Star Fox 64 working in 2 days, that's just incredible. You can see that there are things that still need doing, like character speech and audio, but all the barrel-rolling, laser-shooting action looks great.

Keep your eyes peeled for more information on this development of Star Fox 64 on Dreamcast as and when I get it right here!
