8BITDO's Retro Coloured FlipPad Controller Is Now On Amazon UK/EU

8BITDO's Retro Coloured FlipPad Controller Is Now On Amazon UK/EU

One of our favourite mobile phone accessories of the year goes to 8BITDO's FlipPad, a portable controller that connects to your smartphone's USB-C port, offering physical buttons to experience games and emulators. Its neat flip-down hinge allows you to quickly explore your phone's full screen between games, something other controllers in the space don't do.

It doesn't require charging as it takes power from your phone; it's incredibly thin, and the button quality is great, as you'd predict from a controller manufacturer. The black version has been available across the globe for a while, but our UK and European readers will know that 8BITDO has held off on stocking the retro "G" version on Amazon for some reason, but as of 14th August, it's now available to purchase for £24.99/€29.99 with next-day shipping if you have Amazon Prime.

So, those who have been waiting to snag one specifically on Amazon, rather than waiting for 8BITDO's longer shipping times, then you're in luck. I just checked 8BITDO's official website, and they're not shipping to the UK until the 25th August, so an entire week away, which helps make the Amazon listing a quicker offering for those who patiently waited.
