If you're like me, you are patiently waiting for new information about the upcoming Legend Of Zelda movie. At this moment in time, we've only had limited information, a handful of screenshots and some teases by Nintendo themselves, which is enough to scratch the itch, but it's leaving us all hungry for more, admittedly.
Well, Miyamoto shared on Nintendo's social channels that they are moving the release date of the upcoming movie to... an earlier date?
I know, right? It feels like this shouldn't be real. We are all so familiar with delays in the industry, so much so that it has become the norm, but for movies to be released slightly earlier is a rare announcement that I'll happily accept.

The original release date for the movie, worldwide, was set for May 7th 2027, a whole year away, but now it seems Nintendo wants to move it a week early to April 30th 2027. There's no information as to why, but here in the UK, that falls just before a bank holiday weekend, people are off work, kids are out of school, and it may mean they see an increase in people watching it within the first week, which I know many studios try to push.
It's a welcome announcement and means we can all watch the movie slightly quicker than anticipated. It's likely we'll start to see more teasers, more screenshots and possibly larger trailers in the coming months. Who knows, we may even get a look at an exclusive popcorn bucket which seems to be all the craze recently!
