Pokemon Concierge Stop-Motion Series Coming To Netflix

Pokemon Concierge

As part of the Pokemon Presents livestream, The Pokemon Company announced a new partnership with Netflix to produce “Pokemon Concierge”.

This new stop-motion animation series will be developed by Dwarf Studios of Japan.

We learned that the series will focus on an island resort for Pokemon, and pull from fan favorite stories and manga.

The series will introduce new original stories around some of our favorite characters from the Pokemon universe. Sounds good to us!

The short teaser trailer revealed our new concierge at Pokemon Resort, Haru, accompanied by Psyduck.

We can only imagine the spectacles that could occur on the resort. And it’s exciting to imagine what Pokemon will make an appearance.

Surely there will be a ton of cameos from the massive number of characters they can pull from.

The quality of this television series looks incredible. And reminds us of some of our favorite stop-motion creations from studios like Laika (Coraline, Kubo and the Two Strings).

This is also not the only stop-motion project to drop on Netflix. It seems to be their thing lately.

With awesome stuff like Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio and the Netflix exclusive film The House, Pokemon Concierge will feel right at home on Netflix.

We absolutely cannot wait to check this animated series out, and it sounds like we won’t have to wait too long. A 2023 release, maybe? We can only hope.
