We all know how influential the original Tomb Raider game was. It's one of the best games on the PS1, and now it's been reimagined not once, but twice! We had Tomb Raider Anniversary in 2007, and now we've got Lara Croft, portrayed by Alix Wilton Regan, travelling to the lush jungles of Peru, the ancient ruins of Greece, and the mysterious tombs of Egypt, all in search of the legendary Scion in Legacy of Atlantis.

Legacy of Atlantis looks like the kind of game that you could enjoy even if you've never picked up a Tomb Raider game before, and there are tonnes of new features that never appeared in the original game available for players to use in this new title. I mean, it's been 30 years, so there have been a lot of advancements in gaming in that time!

Expect combat and puzzle-solving a-plenty, alongside wrist-mounted grappling hooks and the ability to interact with your environment in ways that were never possible in the original game. You'll have a scanner to analyse artifacts and uncover lore as you play - see, games can be educational!

Lara will have her usual iconic dual pistols and acrobatic moves to call upon to stay alert and alive through the game - it's the Tomb Raider you know, modernised with cool new features, and I'm very excited for it to release on February 12th, 2027.

Coincidentally, that's my mum's birthday, so I know what I'll be buying her... that she'll ultimately give back to me so I can play it. Thanks in advance, Mum!
