This mod is becoming the version of Pokémon Red/Blue that I always hoped for back in the 90s. Not only has the Gen1 Recomp and Dramatic Shape Voxel Mod combo taken the world by storm, but the updates it's getting are essentially taking the original games beyond anything that I could have ever imagined.
The video below posted by CameronRitz on X shows the player flying freely around Kanto on top of Charizard. You can even go into first-person mode and look around while you're in the sky! It's like someone just entered every cheat known to gaming-kind in this game and made it run perfectly.

The Voxel Mod received updates last week that allow players to play the game in third-person mode with the camera following your character like in a Mario game. The 3D battles have changed the way we experience the game, as have the colour palette changing settings and the option of curving the horizon, zooming into or out of the action, and much more.
