Kirby & the Amazing Mirror Multiplayer Coming To Nintendo Switch Online

Kirby & the Amazing Mirror

Nintendo has just announced the upcoming release of Kirby & the Amazing Mirror for their Nintendo Switch Online Service.

You should need very little reason to be excited about a new Kirby game in your library, because… well… it’s Kirby!

This incredible Kirby title made its well deserved appearance on our list of the best Kirby games of all time.

What makes this a particularly exciting entry to the NSO service is that it is one of the best multiplayer experiences for the Game Boy Advance; now for the current generation.

Kirby & the Amazing Mirror was released for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance in 2004.

And, of course, it was developed by Hal Laboratory; the team that brought us all of the best entries in the Kirby franchise.

The game was also co-developed with Capcom’s subsidiary Flagship, bringing even more production expertise to the project.

“The Amazing Mirror” is more Metroid-vania in style than the previous Kirby titles, offering nonlinear exploration and unique problem solving.

It was also one of the first in the Game Boy Advance generation to introduce co-op multiplayer as such a primary function of the game.

This is one of the absolute best games to appear on the NSO library for that reason, so we are elated to see it’s debut on the Switch.

Kirby & the Amazing Mirror on the Nintendo Switch will support up to four player co-op play locally or online.

Plus a bunch of really fun Mario Party-esque mini-games to also enjoy with your friends.

Nintendo has announced today that they will drop Kirby & the Amazing Mirror on the Nintendo Switch Online service on September 29th.

The Game Boy Advance is part of the NSO Expansion Pack, which means you will need to pay that extra premium.

But the addition of Game Boy Advanced, Nintendo 64, SEGA Genesis, and the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass make the expansion well worth the price.

If you’ve been eagerly awaiting one of the best GBA games since it was teased by Nintendo last year… the time has finally come! It’ll keep you occupied till the new Kirby game drops too!
