It’s time to come out of your shell and discover how to get Turtwig in Pokemon Legends: Arceus!

As one of the Starter Pokemon in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, the grass type turtle Pokemon Turtwig is still a very popular character. However, despite his inclusion in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, this particular Pocket Monster isn’t that easy to find.

That’s what we’re here for though. Come with us as we check out all of the information you need to bag yourself a Turtwig and evolve it into its final form, the Torterra!

Where To Find Turtwig In Pokemon Legends: Arceus?

Like the other Diamond and Pearl Starters that feature in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Turtwig can only be found in one area.

If you head to the Crimson Mirelands and get yourself over to the Droning Meadow there, you’ll be able to look for a Turtwig. However, be aware that they can still be fairly rare – so you might have to do quite a bit of hunting for one while you’re there!

You should also be able to find Turtwig’s evolved form, Grotle, in the same area. It is, however, even rarer than Turtwig itself. Rarer still is the fully evolved form of Turtwig – the mighty Torterra. Torterra hangs out in the Holm of Trials and also in the Crimson Mirelands.

How To Evolve Turtwig In Pokemon Legends: Arceus?

Turtwig’s evolution process is very simple indeed. To evolve Turtwig into Grotle, just raise it to level 18.

In order to get your Grotle ready to evolve into Torterra, simply raise it to level 36.

With that, you have all of the information you need to not only find Turtwig, but also to fully evolve it into a Torterra too!
