Ah picking the right starter… it’s never an easy choice, is it?

Knowing that you’re going to be stuck with that same starter critter and become emotionally attached to it throughout the game, only to put it in a box at a Pokemon Centre later on.

It’s too much!

Luckily, there are multiple ways to get Cyndaquil in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. So, if you’ve realised you made a terrible mistake and don’t want to reset your game, all is not lost.

Let’s check out how to get Cyndaquil in Pokemon Legends: Arceus and discover where his bigger brothers are hiding out too.

Where To Get Cyndaquil In Pokemon Legends: Arceus?

How to get Cyndaquil in Pokemon Legends: Arceus - Cyndaquil in the wild

The easiest way to get Cyndaquil in Pokemon Legends: Arceus is to choose it as your starter Pokemon at the very beginning of the game. Simple, right?

If that feels a little too easy for you and you fancy using Oshalott or Rowlet instead, then don’t panic. You can actually pick up Cyndaquil after completing the main game storyline.

Ok, so this method is pretty easy too.

Once the game is finished, just head back to Professort Laventon’s office. He’ll give you the other two starter Pokemon that you didn’t choose.

This won’t help you with your Cyndaquil research, however. Players must catch the little critter five times before that can be ticked off the to-do list.

Once the game ends, the little fire-fiend can be found in Space-Time Distortions in the Crimson Mirelands.

Remember, this only happens post game. Still, you can also catch an Alpha Cyndaquil from these random distortions too, so keep those fingers crossed!

How To Evolve Cyndaquil Into Quilava Pokemon Legends: Arceus?

Cyndaquil evolves into Quilava at Level 14 in Pokemon Legend: Arceus. There’s no trickery or item wizard to worry about, just a good old fashion level-up process.

Where To Get Quilava And Typhlosion In Pokemon Legends: Arceus?

Obviously, if you took Cyndaquil on as your starter Pokemon, then you won’t need to worry about where to get Quilava and Hisuian Typhlosion.

If, however, you opted for another starter, then I’m afraid the only thing you can do is wait for those Space-Time Distortions post game.

These Cyndaquil evolutions are rare to find, so don’t be surprised if hours go by before one appears. The Alpha Quilava and Typhlosions are even rarer, but I promise they’re there!

How To Evolve Quilava Into Hisuian Typhlosion Pokemon Legends: Arceus?

Quilava evolves into the ghost-fire hybrid Hisuian Typhlosion at level 36 without any items or special conditions. Just use Quilava in your team and it’ll evolve before you know it!

And that’s a wrap!

Thank you for checking out our article on how to get Cyndaquil in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. I’ve always gone for fire types first whenever I’ve played a Pokemon game, but if you prefer the other candidates, then rest assured you can still grab it later on.
