One of the easiest ways to get coins in Mario Strikers Battle League is by completing Cup Battles. Players compete in tournaments and get different coin amounts for specific modes.

If you’re looking to get coins, then you’ll need to head into the Cup Battles mode and test your mettle against the computer-generated teams.

Win a tournament in Normal Mode and you’ll bag 400 coins. Beat Normal Mode, and you’ll get 500 coins.

Then, do what I did and blow it all on gear you don’t want just so you can write an article on how to get the best gear in Mario Strikers Battle League… a fact I’m not bitter about at all.

Players can also earn coins by taking part in multiplayer matches with friends.

Sadly, it might mean getting absolutely mullered by your 32-year-old emo-throwback mate Nathan and him sending you memes of how terrible you are at playing games, but at least the coins can comfort you when you lose.

If, like me, you’re becoming more and more obsessed with Mario Strikers, then playing with friends is one of the easiest ways to get farming those coins and saving up for all the best gear.

What Can I Spend Coins On?

I’ve mentioned it a few times throughout this article thus far, but coins are used to buy gear for your team.

To make characters faster, stronger, or better at passing and shooting, players must spend coins and buy gear.

Gear improves player some stats but also reduces stats in other areas; it’s all a trade off.
