We’ve found the last Sage and are ready to take on Ganon, right? Wrong. You actually need to learn how to beat Seized Construct in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom first!
The name of this boss should be a dead giveaway that this Construct isn’t like the others you’ve fought before. For one, it’s bigger, and two, it’s infected by Gloom.
Fortunately, you have Minoru by your side… or should I say, you’ll be using her like the work loader suit in Aliens.
Yes, this battle is an interesting one. Fortunately for you lovely lot, I have just the guide to help make this battle one of the quicker boss fights you’ll come across in TOTK.
How To Beat Seized Construct In Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom
You need to beat Seized Construct by using Minoru – you can’t fight this boss any other way. Attach a cannon to one of Minoru’s arms to blast the Construct into the barbed fence around the arena.
If you’ve used my guide on how to beat Master Kohga, the tactic here is surprisingly similar: you need to push the Seized Construct into the barbed wire to damage it.
A cannon is the easiest way to do this, but any weapon attached to Minoru will suffice.
You can’t fight alone as Link because the floor is covered in Gloom, meaning he’ll lose hearts ridiculously fast if you attempt this.
A Tale Of Two Parts!
This battle is split into two phases:
1. The Seized Construct only has two arms, allowing for Minoru to easily counter any incoming attacks. Then, after blasting the enemy with a cannon, knock them into the barbed wire.
2. Once its health is down halfway, the Seized Construct will gain two more arms, and be able to fly around the room. Use the cannon to knock it to the ground before attempting to attack, or you can wait for it to charge at you, stepping out of the way at the last minute.
Although this is the best strategy to use when learning how to beat Seized Construct in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you can finish this battle without using a cannon. However, it will likely take longer.
Whatever you decide to do, make sure to use Minoru to the fullest of her abilities.
Once the Seized Construct is down, you’ll finally have everything you need to track down Ganon and rid Hyrule of Gloom once and for all.
