We’ve been waiting patiently for Hi-Fi Rush to appear on Switch ever since the news that it would be coming to Nintendo’s hybrid hero. Today, however, we know that the game has received a European rating for the Nintendo Switch thanks to an X post by Gematsu.

For a while, we didn’t think that it would be heading from Xbox to the Switch; it all seemed like a pipe dream until an exclusive Switch T-Shirt design was found by dataminers (thanks Press Start!).

This is all a little odd, however, as Hi-Fi Rush is already out on the PS5, though the Switch version has just received its European rating alongside the PS5 version today. Does that mean that it’s all ready to go but still undergoing some teething problems, a little like Hogwarts Legacy for the Switch (which let’s face it, still has teething problems even now)?

Whatever the reasoning behind it, the fact that we’ve received a European rating for the game gives fans hope that the Switch release will be going ahead as planned and that it could be happening sooner than we all dared to dream.
