I'm going to come out and say it: sometimes, some things shouldn't be made, and I beleive this is one of them. Known as SkyGBA, YouTuber Atreus is attempting to port one of the best games ever made to the GAME BOY Advance, and the first look is somewhat... a start, I guess?

This tech demo of the exploration of Skyrim's map is trying to take full advantage of the GAME BOY Advance's display and processor in a way that admittedly looks like it needs some work, but it's a first look at what's possible with a little work, and the developer has mentioned if it gets enough attention he'll get to work at making the port a little more visually pleasing.

Ports like this aren't simple and will require a lot of work to get to a point of playability, alongside the narrowing of button mapping seeing as the GBA is limited in today's eyes, but nonetheless this port is somewhat playable in the sense that you can move around using the DPAD to explore a sprinkling of Tamriel and Whiterun in all of the console's 32-BIT graphics.

It's certainly unique and I want the developer to dive deeper into this to give is a nostalgic look at what this came would look and feel like on one of the best handhelds ever made, but only time will tell!
