Two RPG Classics
The original Grandia sees young Justin inheriting a magic stone that leads to him discovering a forgotten civilisation. Released around the same time as the iconic Final Fantasy VII, Grandia resonated with fans of the JPRG genre.
Its sequel, Grandia II, also enamoured audiences and critics alike and even shuffled its way onto our list of the best JPRGs ever made.
PS+ Premium subscribers eager to play Grandia on PS4 and PS5 can also revisit the original Grandia since it joined the PS+ Premium tier back in November alongside Parappa The Rapper 2 and Jet Moto.
While not the HD version with all the bells and whistles detailed above, this version does offer the classic gameplay of Game Arts RPG with the ability to quick-save, rewind, and apply custom video filters.
