Fox McCloud is getting his time in the sun again, and I'm so happy about it. This week, we've had an update to Star Fox on the Nintendo Switch, and Star Fox Adventures has just arrived on Nintendo Switch Online as part of the GameCube Classics collection. And now, his seminal N64 adventure is running on another iconic handheld other than the Switch - the PSP

Star Fox 64, known as Lylat Wars here in the UK, has already been ported to the Dreamcast and features on many of the retro handhelds that I review here at Retro Dodo. But a port of the game on the PSP is a great feat, especially when you can see it running so well.

And yes, it works on both real hardware and the PPSSPP Emulator!

'They said it couldn't be done' - I love that little line at the top of Daniel Welch's X post. It's a true testament to how hard the modding and hacking community works to get these projects over the line, and Daniel has been working tirelessly on this project for the past four months. As he says in the post above, the simulation is still 30Hz, but this is still early days. Now that the project has got momentum, I imagine it won't be long until it's completely over the line and fully ready to play!

Make sure to follow Daniel on X to find out more about the project and his progress over the coming weeks and months!
