I'm a huge fan of Nintendo Switch Online, especially since Donkey Kong 64 arrived on the platform, and I seem to spend all of my time on it. In all honesty, I've used it a lot since the service started, and the fact that popular and cult games release for us to play on a regular basis for £30 a year is a steal. Ninty have added four new games for players in the UK and US to play, as well as a fifth Japanese exclusive that has me wishing I lived in Japan and spoke Japanese more than ever.
Let's start with the best news - Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 has arrived. Gunpei Yokoi's brain child featuring Mario's nemesis turned garlic-chomping anti-hero is one of my favourite ever Game Boy games, and if you've never played it, you're in for a real treat. I wrote a whole article on how it gave the series a grittier edge - that's how much I love this game and how influential it was on the world of handheld gaming.
Three #GameBoy titles have been added to Nintendo Classics!

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members can also enjoy two #GameBoyAdvance titles in one:

We've also got two more DMG games - Fortified Zone, a top-down action game that has shades of Navy Seals about it (although it's far better), and The Sword of Hope II, which is more of a dungeon-crawling title. Neither of these games released in PAL territories, so they weren't available to play on my yellow Game Boy when I was a kid.
For expansion pack owners, the fun continues with Dr. Mario and Puzzle League on the Game Boy Advance. I never spent much time playing Puzzle League, but Dr Mario was hardly ever out of my Game Boy as a kid.
And if you're a Japanese gamer, then you'll also have access to the game Tomato Adventure. You can access it in the Japanese version if you have a US account, but unless you can speak Japanese, you might have a hard time understanding what's going on! Still, as the legendary predecessor of the Mario & Luigi GBA games, you'll have a fun time just messing around and trying to find out what's going on - it's basically handheld gaming royalty!
Nintendo Switch Online and the Expansion pack, which gives users access to N64 games (which is worth the cost alone), Sega Genesis/Mega Drive titles, and GameCube (Switch 2 only), and GBA games costs £34.99 a year in the UK, €39.99 in Europe, and $49.99 in the USA.
