Now, I am no fashion guru, but I am aware of Supreme. I'm not sure how they got to where they are today; some say it's white-labelling tat, others say creating unique, highly limited items that make you look cooler on the streets. I am not here to argue about that even though I know which one is true; instead, I want to share with you one of the most expensive Analogue Pockets ever made.

Supreme has just revealed its "Fall/Winter 2026" collection, an array of limited Supreme products coming at the end of the year, available to purchase at the end of the year at highly limited numbers. There's no official announcement on numbers; it could be 5, 10, 100, 1,000 units- nobody knows until they sell out. This is kinda their bread and butter. FOMO marketing.

This creates highly limited products that have insane resale value. It's not something I like doing, but their latest collection has certainly piqued my interest, and that's because they're creating 24K Gold-Plated Analogue Pocket handhelds, and again, nobody knows how many they're making when they drop. Not only that, there's a custom glossy red aluminium model to snag too, if that's your thing.

In Supreme's words: Metallic portable handheld multi-video-game-system. Unibody aluminum with 24K Gold-plated and custom red glossy finishes. Compatible with the 2,780+ Game Boy, Game Boy Color & Game Boy Advance game cartridge library. Works with cartridge adapters for other handheld systems. Built-in synthesizer and sequencer. MicroSD card reader at side. Custom logo LCD display and debossed logos at front and back. 3.5” x 5.75”. Game cartridges sold separately.

Many of the retro gaming community are laughing at the fact that Analogue are somehow making even more scarce products than before, a trend they have followed even amidst uproar and disappointment. So this just adds to the collection of Analogue products you'll never be able to buy. Get used to it, folks. You may be wondering if Analogue signed off on this, because I believe Supreme sell things without the owner of the product's permission at times. But yeah, it's plastered over Analogue's homepage.

No doubt this will entice some of the wealthy retro gamers out there, seeing as this can play and emulate a wide range of GAME BOY cartridges and other consoles in a very minimal, modern form-factor. It's undeniably a great handheld. As of now, no price has been revealed; we have to wait for the "drop day" for that, so make sure to subscribe to our free newsletter to find out the price once it does drop.
