If you’re the type of player that doesn’t want to leave any stone unturned when playing new games, then you’ll want to know all of the Super Mario Bros Wonder Secret Exit Locations!
As alluded to by their name though, they can be pretty tricky to find and require you to go hunting but breaking various blocks, defeating enemies, and more.
They also don’t appear on every single level in the game so you can take your eye off the ball and miss them very easily.
Here, we’ll run you through all of the Super Mario Bros Wonder secret exit locations available, along with how to get to it so you can be on your way to fully completing the game!
Table of Contents
1. Piranha Plants on Parade Secret Exit
The first secret exit you can find in Super Mario Bros Wonder is actually in Piranha Plants on Parade, extremely early on in the experience.
To get to this one, you’ll have to make it to the part where the Piranha Plants begin singing and the screen starts to move on its own.
As you progress, you’ll have the chance to get the first Wonder Seed in this level and once you do, you’ll need to wait before moving on.
At this point, you should be able to see three pipes coming down from the top of the screen in different angles and your goal here is to get on top of these to find the secret exit.
Move slightly to the right where you can run along a small section of musical note blocks and look to jump up onto the rightmost pipe from the ceiling.
If done correctly, you’ll be able to get above the ceiling, accessing the secret exit path.
2. Bulrush Coming Through Secret Exit
To locate the Bulrush Coming Through secret exit, make your way through the level until you see a glowing set of four blocks stuck together.
Go past this slightly and get the Bulrush to chase you, destroying the aforementioned blocks in the process.
This reveals a Wonder Flower and when activated, starts a stampede of Bulrush that you can hop onto and ride along.
As these creatures destroy everything in their path, they’ll also get rid of the usual exit so carry on until you’re able to get off on some clouds.
Here will be a Wonder Seed, and carrying on will get you to the secret exit flag!
3. Bulrush Express Secret Exit
The Bulrush Express secret exit is a pretty sneaky one, and something you’ll likely not come across, or have access to if you’re actively looking for it.
Progress until you activate the first Wonder Flower, making the Bulrush stampede occur.
Ride this stampede until you’re able to jump off it and progress upward passed a few more of these Bulrushes.
There should be a Wonder Seed available for you to pick up before entering through a red pipe on the ceiling but do not take this pipe if you want to access the secret exit.
Instead, you’ll need the Elephant Fruit Power-Up to break the line of blocks in front of you which should reveal a golden pipe, taking you to the secret exit.
Now you can ride the Bulrush waiting for you all the way to the flag.
4. Outmaway Valley Secret Exit
For the Outmaway Valley secret exit, play the level until you’re around the mid way point where there will be two golden pipes angled toward you.
Immediately after this will be an ice block which you will need to break to make a golden glow appear on the ground.
Do a ground pound on this area which should reveal a Wonder Flower for you to activate.
From this point, it activates a scrolling screen so just continue the level and it will actually destroy the normal exit, taking you all of the way to the secret one.
All you have to do is survive and you’ll end up where you need to be!
5. Secrets of Shova Mansion Secret Exit
To open up the Secrets of Shova Mansion secret exit, make your way through the level until you’re basically at the finish point.
Here, you’ll come up against a Shova which will attempt to push both you around and the green/gold block you’ll be needing to move.
So, defeat this enemy by jumping on it or by other means, and break the set of brick blocks that are next to it.
Now, push the large block on wheels toward where you broke that set of blocks which will actually reveal a golden pipe.
Head down the pipe which will take you to the secret exit!
6. Where Rrrumbas Rule Secret Exit
For the Rrrumbas Rule secret exit, you’ll need a Drill Mushroom to gain access to it.
Make it to the part of the level where you need to push down a yellow pillar in order to continue moving forward.
Jump at this pillar but immediately do a wall jump off it and activate the Drill Mushroom power in order to dig into the ceiling.
If done correctly, you should be able to traverse on the ceiling and into a tiny path that can’t be accessed otherwise.
After making your way through here, you’ll open up the area of the secret exit, getting yourself that hidden Wonder Seed once more.
7. Hot-Hot Hot! Secret Exit
The final Super Mario Bros. Wonder secret exit can be found in the Hot-Hot Hot! level.
For this one, you’ll have to progress the level until you reach the mid way flag point, giving you that checkpoint.
Instead of going forward though, do an immediate 180 and jump on the blocks closest to you.
You will need a form of Power-Up to continue and we suggest the Drill Mushroom as you’ll likely have one of these from this level anyway.
From the highest block, do a running spin jump using the Drill Mushroom’s power, and land on the set of three clouds.
Hit the purple flower bud a couple of times to make it travel backwards through the level and follow this until it stops.
Once it does, it will reveal a door which you can head inside, leading you to the secret exit point.
