The PSP is one of the greatest handhelds ever made; it revolutionised not only portable gaming but portable media, thanks to the large storage capacity of UMDs for its time. Though now a "retro console", it seems to be making a comeback thanks to the younger generations' good taste in gaming and... fashion?
The PSP has become a fashion statement as of recent, and ZARA has seen that trend and acted on it with real-life storage capacity in the form of a new cross-body bag that costs just £19.99. Shout out to excessorize me for bringing this to our attention.

This crossover bag features the face of the PSP 1000 console itself in all its glory in silicone with embossed buttons, logos and a screen that has been replaced with a vinyl-like sheet to remake the glossy 4.3" display, but from what I can tell, you can't store anything behind the display, which could be a missed opportunity for customisation in my opinion!
The back of the crossbody has no silicone embossment, but there is a subtle PSP logo, which, if you remember, also features on the back of the console itself, where the UMD slots in, albeit in chrome, but this is as good as you'll get on a £20 bag.

Around the edges, you'll find your adjustable shoulder strap, attached by two plastic clasps and a strap with a bunch of PlayStation branding on it, adding to the clean, minimal look. There are even the iconic Sony shapes along the strap, too.
I have enough slings in my collection, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't order this for the primary reason of it becoming my PSP 1000 storage system. I am hoping it can store my console, a charging cable and a handful of UMD's in a protective manner. For £19.99, I think it's worth a shot. I'll keep you updated via our newsletter regarding my new PSP 1000 storage bag... if it fits.
