We all yearn for the 'good old days.' When life gets a little too busy, we tend to think back to the times when we had less responsibility and more time to sit and play Final Fantasy VII with a glass of Pepsi. Equally, it seems like we have to pretend we don't love our retro consoles or the things we were obsessed with as kids when we get to adulthood. I'm 36 and talk about Zelda on a daily basis, and you should be able to take your love of the PS1 into the office or the tube and let everyone know you're still a nerd.

It was only last month that we covered Zara shadow dropping their PSP every day carry bag, and don't forget the Anicorn 30th anniversary watch I covered back in December 2025. Now Sony have announced that they're bringing out a laptop and tablet sleeve this July in Japan. Available from 7-Eleven, you can let everyone know that even though you might wear a suit or work in a big office, you still daydream about battling Dr Neo Cortex or pumping zombies full of lead.

Check out this case - it's like someone's gutted a PS1 and padded it out, and it looks real enough that you could press the buttons and load up some of your favourite games!
It would have been so easy for Sony to just stick their iconic logo on a neoprene sleeve and sell tonnes of them while people were nipping into 7-Eleven to pick up a bar of chocolate, but they've created a true collectible here. And inside you'll find a design made up of tiny logos in neat little rows!
According to Tokyo Weekender, the cost of the case is set at ¥3,630. That's about £17.00/$22.45. I paid £16 for a plain neoprene case on Amazon earlier this year, and it's boring as heck, so I call this pretty good value for money! If you're heading to Japan this July, I'd be hitting up a 7-Eleven if I were you and grabbing one before all the scalpers!
