It seems to be Tomb Raider's time in the sun at the moment. Not only is the game finally coming to the N64 after 3 decades, but it's now coming to us reimagined as a classic side-scrolling title next month!
Delca and Tryxe have been working on giving the seminal PS1 adventure a brand new look, swapping the 3D environments we know and remember from 1996 for levels that feel like they have dropped straight from Altered Beast. Check out the trailer below!

A project developed by me (Delca) and Trxye, we're incredibly happy to announce that it's now complete!
Planned release: May 2026

11 levels have been transformed to give us a feel more akin to Shinobi than Tomb Raider. But you know what, it works! The levels look amazing and change the entire way you think about the game, despite the locations still bringing back nostalgic memories.
The planned release is for May 2026, so we don't have long to wait to try it out. Delca and Tryxe have confirmed that this is a free-to-play, not-for-profit passion project, so hopefully they'll avoid any angry letters from Sony!
Keep an eye out for an update here when the game releases!
