If, like me, you grew up playing Ratchet & Clank games on the PS2 and sunk hours into Agent Clank on the PSP, then you'll be all over this LEGO Clank model. I know what you're thinking - this looks twice as good as the LEGO Game Boy, right? I want someone to make a kit that goes inside this little model of Clank to turn it into a proper walking, talking robot, it looks that good!

The design comes to us from LEGO Ideas user Distinguished Crow and comes with a bow tie to turn Clank into Agent Clank, as well as four different sets of eyes to give him different expressions depending on your (and his) mood. At 596 pieces, it's not the most difficult design we've covered, but with 31 points of articulation, it's definitely the perfect set to bring Clank to life. You can do a different pose for every day of the month!

At 0.35 meters tall, DistinguishedCrow says that it's about 1/2 of the scale of Clank's height in the game. They have used a technique of picking as many smooth bricks as possible for the outer shell to give that metallic, robotic look. The set also comes with a plaque that houses the extra eyes and bow tie, as well as two small LEGO miniatures of Ratchet (a questionable likeness, but I'm being open-minded) and Clank.

As DistinguishedCrow rightfully says, everyone who played Ratchet & Clank wished that they could have their own Clank following them around in real life, just like when Star Wars released the BB8 toys. Clank is an instantly recognisable character that every PS2 fan would jump at the chance to own, and we really hope that this design becomes a reality.
At the time of writing, it's already amassed 1,601 supporters and has 110 days to reach its next goal of 5,000 votes. Once it gets to 10,000 votes, the LEGO team will get their heads together to see if they want to put it into production, which I really hope they do!
