Retro gaming fans all over the globe know about how big a deal Atari are and the huge impact they had on the world of gaming. Atari 50 celebrates all of their success, over 50 years of hard work and innovation that still make them an iconic household name half a century later. Now, Atari have announced that there will be a new DLC pack for Atari 50 called The Namco Legendary Pack, bringing classic Atari games for the 2600, 5200, and 7800 consoles into the game, all for the incredibly affordable price of $7.99.
The new DLC boasts everyone's favourite arcade game PAC-MAN, as well as titles such as Galaga, Dig Dug, Galaxian, Xevious, and more. Essentially, if you're an arcade whizz-kid and want to play classics while dipping out to read archived documents on your favourite games and listen to interviews with the developers, then this DLC needs to be on your wishlist.
The new Namco Legendary Pack launches next week on November 13th and is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, and you can head to the Atari Website for more details.
This is the third DLC for Atari 50, the first two being 'The Wider World of Atari' and 'The First Console War'.
