The GameMT E3 Vigor was teased a couple of months back, and I'll be honest, it slipped under my radar. It looked like another cheap Chinese handheld trying to do something that has already been done a thousand times.
GameMT's previous handhelds have not impressed me, nor many for that matter, so it's why I didn't pay it much attention; there's so many of these things being launched every week.
However, a recent video leaked that took me by surprise. The GameMT E3 Vigor features a glass front and a GAME BOY Advance cartridge slot, allowing for the ability to play GB/GBC/GBA cartridges, alongside its emulation capabilities.

Spotted by RetroDeadFred it shows the E3 Vigo in action, showing off a 1:1 display, a modern, minimal glass front, action buttons with no text (i kinda like), and no start/select buttons on the front.
The shoulder buttons look slightly raised out from the main body, and between them an obvious cartridge slot.
The video doesn't show any cartridge gameplay in action but showcases the launcher, which may be stock upon arrival. It's the first time GameMT has done something like this.
I just hope they can start making actually good devices, instead of the overpriced tat that has come out of their doors over recent months.
Some people will want something like this if its affordable and if it's of great build quality. It could be time for GameMT to get their name out in the wild with this one. We'll keep you updated.
