I honestly never knew how Nintendo were going to beat Super Mario 64. It had been the best Mario game I'd ever played, and having Bowser as the antagonist causing me grief at every stage was just how a Mario game was supposed to be. But when Shadow Mario arrived on Isle Delfino and I started hovering around using FLUDD while and cleaning up paint, I forgot all about my beloved N64 for a while and immersed myself in this exciting new adventure. Come on, Seb - Nintendo always know how to create gold with Mario. I should have known it was going to blow me away!
Wind Waker and Super Mario Sunshine were two of my favourite games on GameCube, and as of August 13th, both will be on there for me to play on Nintendo Switch 2 no matter where I am. Yes, Super Mario Sunshine is joining the fray in just a couple of weeks, and those Nintendo Switch Online users who have signed up to the Expansion Pack can enjoy it alongside other classic games like Soul Calibur, F-Zero GX, and much more.
Dark days loom over Isle Delfino!

The full list of GameCube Classics now available on NSO is as follows:
- Chibi-Robo
- F-ZERO GX
- Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
- Luigi's Mansion
- Mario Smash Football
- Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness
- SOULCALIBUR II
- The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
- Wario World
When Mario Sunshine joins the collection on August 13th, that will be 10 titles in total, alongside a tonne of N64 and GBA games that Expansion users can also access. I'm very excited to jump back into Isle Delfino, especially if there's going to be a widescreen mode, fingers crossed!
