For anyone who says that the Nintendo Switch 2 is a kids' console, there's a whole load of zombies that are about to arrive on the platform that will either change your mind... or eat it. We're getting remakes of Resident Evil 2, 3, and 4 arriving next year, with Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 4 Gold.
Having played all of these games when they came out on the PS1 and GameCube when it comes to RE4, seeing them on Nintendo Switch 2 looking this good is a dream come true. I mean, how badass does Nemesis look with the power of the Switch 2?
The game comes with expansions pre-installed, so you'll have all of the DLC and extra content straight away. If you're a zombie lover, then this is one to watch.
It's quite nice that Resident Evil 4 has a home on the Switch 2, considering it was only ever meant to be made for the GameCube. All of the remade graphics look fantastic, and it's hard to believe that we imagined this was what they looked like back in the days of the PS1 when we were younger.
Obviously, you'll need a Nintendo Switch 2 to play these remakes, so if you were thinking of upgrading and Ocarina of Time wasn't enough to get you to do it (are you mad?), then Resident Evil might be the one that tips you over the edge. Digital versions are available this year on October 16th, so make sure you put them on your wishlist!
