A 3DS remake of Pokémon Ruby, the classic 3rd generation Pokémon game, Pokémon Omega Ruby brought numerous quality of life updates, as well as the 3D style of Pokémon X and Y, to fans of the Pokémon series. We’ve tested all of the cheats we could find for Pokémon Omega Ruby, and have listed each working code here.
It’s worth noting that all of these cheat codes will need an emulator which supports code entry; even better if your emulator can auto-detect code types. Our recommendations for emulating this are via Azahar, which is the emulator we used to produce this guide.
How to Use Pokémon Omega Ruby Cheat Codes
This is the same advice that we’d give for any Pokémon cheats: remember to always save your game before applying any cheats, and for the best, most stable results, turn off all other cheats when applying and using a new one. As there are so many different combinations of codes possible, we can’t guarantee they’ll all work together as intended. In fact, we often have trouble ourselves when multiple cheats are used simultaneously, so it’s worth turning off as many as you can to use the latest one you want.
Do note that numerous versions of Pokémon Omega Ruby are available. Our cheats have been fully tested on the 1.0 version of Pokémon Omega Ruby, which seems to be the most widely used version. Note that later versions require patches which may be difficult to find and apply, so we have not listed cheats for those versions here. All of the codes on this list have been tested by us here at Retro Dodo, and each cheat’s section tells you how to make sure each cheat code functions as you need it to.
Infinite Medicine Items
Note that this will increase the number of medicine items you already own; it won’t unlock different types. So, as you can see in our screenshot, we only had Potions in our bag, so it only increased our number of Potions. Here’s the code you need to enter:

Note On Other Pokémon Omega Ruby Codes
We have tried using a large number of other codes for Pokémon Omega Ruby, which we’ve seen elsewhere. However, for our Pokémon Omega Ruby version (we’ve been using 1.0 to test these cheat codes), no other codes would work properly for us (the walk through walls and encountering specific Pokémon, for example, among many others). Therefore, we have not included them on this list.
