How many of you remember watching Ben 10? Did you ever watch it while playing Pokémon? If you did, then the news that both have combined in a brand new ROM hack will probably be music to your ears!
Meet Pokémon Omniversal Emerald, a game where you can play as either Ben or Gwen in the region of Hoenn (I mean, it had to be to rhyme, didn't it). All of the Pokémon in this Emerald ROM hack have been mutated by what appears to be a comet that has soared over Hoenn, which means that there are over 400+ forms waiting for you to discover!
The Pokémon you know and love have been fused with Ben 10 aliens, turning Pokémon Emerald into a new adventure that will undoubtedly make more sense to those who have watched the series, but will still be fun no matter your level of Ben 10 knowledge.
Developer transwiththeplans has added randomised trainers so that every run through of the game is different. There are level caps, new abilities, new locations, a wider choice of starters, a new story, and a dex nav with hidden Pokémon. Seeing a Pichu that's Electric and Fire is wild - it's not quite as crazy as Pokémon Infinite Fusion, but it's close!
