There’s something very exciting about exploring an entirely new region in Pokémon games, and you get to do that in the Pokémon Emerald ROM hack, Pokémon Dreamstone Mysteries. With unusual starter Pokémon, varied environments and a story-led structure, Pokémon Dreamstone Mysteries is an excellent ROM hack.
So, to get the most out of Pokémon Dreamstone Mysteries, we’ve tested all of the cheats we could find for the hack and have listed each working code here.
It’s worth noting that all of these cheat codes will need an emulator which supports code entry; even better if your emulator can auto-detect code types. Our recommendations for emulation on mobile devices would be MyBoy! or Delta if you’re playing on Android or iOS, respectively. We used MyBoy! to test the codes on this list. Codes can be entered, enabled and disabled with ease using this emulator.
How to Use Pokémon Dreamstone Mysteries Cheat Codes
This is the same advice that we’d give for any Pokémon cheats: remember to always save your game before applying any cheats, and for the best, most stable results, turn off all other cheats when applying and using a new one. As there are so many different combinations of codes possible, we can’t guarantee they’ll all work together as intended. In fact, we often have trouble ourselves when multiple cheats are used simultaneously, so it’s worth turning off as many as you can to use the latest one you want.
If you get stuck or the added cheats do crash or otherwise break your game, you can always go back to your save point. It’s important to remember to turn each added cheat off before saving again too, so that the chances of crashing or otherwise breaking your game by adding a new code are reduced.
Do note that numerous versions of Pokémon Dreamstone Mysteries may be available. All of the codes on this list have been thoroughly tested at Retro Dodo using the MyBoy! emulator, and each cheat’s section tells you how to make sure each cheat code functions as you need it to.
Be very careful with cheats for different versions of Pokémon Dreamstone Mysteries, or codes which we have not listed here; we found some which crashed our game, or didn’t work at all.
Easy/One Hit KO Battles

Though it doesn't always result in a 1 Hit KO to the opposing Pokémon, this code makes all battles a lot easier:
- 4200057C 0C0C 00000004 0002 420005DC 0000 00000004 0002
RareCandy/Eternal Candy

This code will spawn 1xEternal Candy, which you can access in any PC’s storage. Note that this code may only work once, and will add the Eternal Candy to your Key Items pocket in your bag:
- 8201A488 0066
Max Money and Master Balls

This isn’t a code; instead, before heading out on your adventure, simply interact with the Gimmighoul doll you have in your room at home. Though it’ll warn you that you may glitch your game, we’ve used this method with no issues. The Gimmighoul allows you to gain 999,999 Poké Dollars immediately, and it can also immediately grant you 999 Master Balls too!
Sell Items for 7000xValue

Sell any item for 7000 times its normal value in any Poké Mart with this code:
- 83006B34 1B58
Unlimited PP

To give your active Pokémon unlimited PP with their moves in battle, use this code:
- 32000589 0032 8200058A 3232 3200058C 0032
Unlock Infinite Items

The method to unlock each item is unusual in Pokémon Dreamstone Mysteries; you’ll need to use the Master Code, followed by the code of the individual item that you want to spawn for sale at the Poké Mart.
So you need to replace the XXXX of the Master Code with the 4 digits of the individual item code. This then spawns the item you want as the first item for sale at a Poké Mart. Note that items will still cost money in most cases, though some are offered for free.
For example, if you want Ultra Balls, you’d enter the following cheat code:
- 8201A488 0003

Note On Other Pokémon Dreamstone Mysteries Codes:
We have tried using a large number of other codes for Pokémon Dreamstone Mysteries which we’ve seen elsewhere. However, for our versions of Pokémon Dreamstone Mysteries (we’ve been using the MyBoy! emulator to test these codes), no other codes would work properly for us. This includes anything regarding HMs and TMs; though these did unlock certain HMs and TMs, they were unreliable and didn’t match specific items when used. The same happened with teaching specific moves to Pokémon, which didn’t work as intended for us. Therefore, we have not included these, or any other codes which wouldn’t work reliably (or at all) on this list.
