ANBERNIC has been hard at work creating their "flagship" device this year, a dual-screen handheld designed to look nearly identical to the Nintendo 3DS, packed with enough power to emulate PlayStation 2, XBOX, 3DS and even PlayStation 3 games. They're calling it the RG DDS, and it can be pre-ordered via their website today, starting at $299.
It will come in three different colour options: Basalt Black, Glacier White and Phantom Blue and two versions each, such as an 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM version for those wanting a little bit more power. This will run on an Android OS, more specifically Android 16, allowing you to install your favourite emulators, apps and more, all on two IPS screens with an included stylus that hides in its shell.

I think a lot of people are excited to see how this performs in the real world, and how reviewers like ourselves will get on with this device, because it's ANBERNIC's third dual-screen handheld now, each of them now in multiple categories and price ranges, but the DDS is one of ANBERNIC's most powerful devices ever launched, and one of their most expensive, so I'm sure many are hesitant and curious to see how they get on manufacturing something like this.
There are also many that are concerned about a new version launching shortly after, as we all know ANBERNIC likes to make as many devices as possible, so what's stopping them from making an RG DDS+? Who knows, but I am hoping to get one in to review before the EOY, so stay tuned for that and subscribe to our free weekly newsletter to keep updated.
