BitmoLab hit our radar back a couple of years ago when they released the GAMEBABY case for iPhone that allows users to take with them phyiscal buttons that take inspiration from the original GAME BOY, pairing perfectly with the Delta emulator on iOS.

The case itself comes in two parts, with the controller part being able to slide on and off to then be spun around to sit the buttons on top of your display in order to use the buttons inside your games and emulators.

Originally, there were two colours to choose from, such as Yellow and Grey, both iconic in their own way, but as of today, BitmoLab has released a highly limited edition transparent version with a frosted case, orange metallic action buttons and silver menu and DPAD buttons.

It creates this retro futuristic look that pairs perfectly with the orange iPhone when in transport mode and offers slight visibility to your Delta skin when in gaming mode.

We spoke with the Co-Founder of the GAMEBABY case, known as Jack, who has confirmed with us that only 500 of these cases exist. "There’s something timeless about transparent hardware that feels perfectly at home alongside the devices that inspired GameBaby in the first place", states Jack.

We were lucky enough to get an early unit and I can confirm it's absolutely beautiful. Nothing has changed in comparison to the original iPhone 17 cases they have made in the past; this is simply exclusive to the iPhone 17 Pro Max, with a unique coloured shell and new coloured buttons.

The limited edition GAMEBABY case is available to buy from BitmoLab today, costing $39.99 and will likely begin shipping in a few days. Nothing on their website suggests there will be a delayed shipment or a wait time to get these manufactured. From what I can tell, these are ready to ship.
