Grab a pizza and your nunchucks; a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game is heading to PC and consoles!
News has dropped of a brand new arcade-style beat-em-up title with everyones’ favourite heroes in a half shell taking the lead once more.
It’s called ‘Shredder’s Revenge’ and sees Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Leonardo taking to the streets once more, just like the arcade titles that were ported to home consoles back in the day.
Here’s everything we know about the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Game and what to expect!
Beat-Em-Up’s Back With Shredders Revenge!
First Look At Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder’s Revenge
Check out those old-skool sprites! The graphics on Shredder’s Revenge look clear and vibrant, but it’s oozing with those arcade feels that made the golden age of gaming so freakin’ cool!
This new home console title comes from the minds over at Dotemu. They’re the same people that published Streets of Rage 4, so they’re used to reviving old franchises and beefing them up for modern gamers. They’re teaming up with Tribute Games, and we can’t wait for the result.
And the best bit; you and three other players can team up to control all four turtles at once. I sense a new Friday game night title approaching!
How Does Shredder’s Revenge Work?
The New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle game is dropping for all major consoles including PC. Perhaps it could be a new title for the Super Nintendo Switch when it eventually launches?
Gamers pick their favourite turtle and dive into action, button-mashing attacks and stringing combos together in a bid to rid the streets of crime. It’s the closest any of us will ever get to becoming a Ninja…
… or a turtle, for that matter.
Players can expect stunning pixel artwork, exciting levels, and hordes of enemies from the TV series. The main trailer actually starts with a clip of the iconic show, and it’s got some pretty neat hints hidden away in it.
Which Characters Appear In Shredder’s Revenge?
It’s almost like you read my mind!
The official trailer shows all four turtles kicking ass in perfect harmony, though they’re not the only ones to make an appearance.
Everyone’s favourite news reporter April O’Neil kicks ninja butt in her newsroom, while Master Splinter himself appears riding a skateboard. He thwacks a robot drone with his stick and looks super cool in the process.
And, of course, Shredder and his army of minions appear in full force. He’s always been one of my favourite villains, and I can’t wait to destroy him while kicking back with a pizza!
When Does Shredder’s Revenge Come Out?
At this point, we don’t have any release or price information to share with you. All we know is that it’s coming and it looks awesome.
Fingers crossed for a 2021 Q3 release now the game has been announced…
I think we’re going to go and watch every episode back to back now in anticipation.
