This isn't news to many of you who have been watching the array of leaks unfold. First it was a cryptid email from ModRetro, then a leak by Logan Paul, then some customers found a link on ModRetro's website that allowed them to add it to their cart, but now we're officially seeing an announcement from ModRetro themselves showing off an array of new transparent Chromatics.
ModRetro has revealed four new transparent colourways in a new plastic shell featuring purple, green, red and smoke, which closely resemble the colourways used in ModRetro's M64 FPGA Nintendo 64 console that they released recently.

It looks like the same buttons have been used and the same display, although it hasn't been mentioned what type of screen cover it has. Previously, they used Sapphire, which is crazy expensive and Gorilla Glass, so it's either the latter or something different if this is indeed going to be cheaper, which also hasn't been officially mentioned.
ModRetro has stated that this device will be released on the 8th of October at 09:30 am PT, likely up for sale and shipping quickly, just like the M64 did. We'll keep our readers and those who like ModRetro products informed about this one on socials when it is officially released. Who knows, a little review might pop up too...
