When it comes to modding consoles and peripherals, Hairo Satoh is one of the very best. He's an absolute genius when it comes to modifying old tech and fusing nostalgic items together. Take the Tamagotchi Digital Camera and the PS1 Roulette Wheel controller handheld - Hairo is an absolute wizard!

Modding under the name haihaisb, Hairo makes gadgets that we would have gone wild for as kids. This time, he's turned a Sony Cybershot T2 frame with Cybershot P7 camera buttons into a Frankenstein Game Boy Advance. He's added an IPS screen that can be toggled through 8 different brightnesses, and it all looks super clean!

He's also added shoulder buttons to the top just like the corners of the GBA SP, and while playing with camera buttons might look a little weird, it's definitely a novel and unique way of playing. I mean, we all love the PlayDate's hand crank, so this isn't any different.

And for all of those people worrying that Hairo has sacrificed working gadgets to make this handheld, don't panic - he uses broken units and adds new parts to them, keeping working Game Boys unscathed. Seeing a Game Boy Advance game slotting into the back of a camera on the video above never gets old!

Of course, this isn't the only camera idea that Hairo has had over the years. He's also turned a Game Boy Color into a multimedia recording device that can record 720p footage!
