Nintendo have announced that Mario Party 3 will be coming to Nintendo Switch Online this week and make it’s debut on the console on the 27th October 2023.
Revealed with a trailer on YouTube earlier today, Mario’s seminal N64 party adventure will be bringing more than 70 mini games and a whole host of boards to Nintendo’s subscription service.
The third Mario Party title originally released for the N64 in Japan back in 2000 before arriving worldwide in 2001. The game is notable for adding new playable characters in the form of Princess Daisy and everybody’s favourite mischief maker, Waluigi.
The Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack version of Mario Party 3 will feature online play so you can fall out with your friends without even being in the same room!
Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members will receive Mario Party 3 as soon as it’s available on the 27th October.
A Trio Of Party Games
Mario Party 3 is the latest classic title to join Nintendo’s subscription service and joins other N64 games such as Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Banjo-Kazooie.
When the third Mario Party game arrives on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion this week it will also complete the trilogy of Mario Party games for the N64, as Mario Party and Mario Party 2 are already available with the subscription. You can see where we ranked them all in our 15 best Mario Party games of all time list.
This now means that 1080° Snowboarding is the only remaining upcoming game for Nintendo’s subscription service without a release date.
1080° Snowboarding was announced as a future arrival to the service way back in September 2022, and we’re itching to take Dion Blaster and Kensuke Kimachi down the slopes again on the Switch!
