Crazy Taxi is up there as one of the most iconic video games of all time. Whenever I go to my local NQ64 bar, it's one of the first arcade machines that I head for, racing past KFC and pulling off epic air as I do everything possible to beat whoever left the last high score. It's a game that we've played till our hands are sore here at Retro Dodo Towers, and thanks to the newest official Sega merch drop from Limited Run Games, you and I can show off our love for it with some new clothes and accessories.
Just check out the green rear-view mirror dangler; I think I would be in danger of doing a doughnut and heading back in the opposite direction if I saw this moving, but it looks awesome nonetheless. If that proves too distracting, there's always the t-shirt, hoody, and cap, as well as keychains, posters, standees, and of course, the all-important Sega trading card set.
Limited Run Games have been pushing Dreamcast Trading Cards for a while now, and the Crazy Taxi drop is no different. There are only 500 commemorative Crazy Taxi case trading card bundles in existence, so if you're collecting Dreamcast Trading Cards, then you'll need to get in on the action quickly! Fans can also pick up Crazy Taxi-themed sleeves and a binder for their existing cards too!
Pre-orders are open now, and in true Limited Run Games fashion, orders are expected to ship between the 23-30th of September. That's enough time to forget about the order altogether and it be an incredible surprise when it arrives at your door!
