Now we know how to reach Area Zero, it feels like we should make the most of it.

I think it’s time to find some more Paradox Pokemon!

The main one a lot of Scarlet players have wanted to get since they figured out how to beat Professor Sada is Roaring Moon.

New for Pokemon Scarlet, this Paradox Pokemon is a Dragon/Dark type, arguably a winning combination that can prove quite fierce on the battlefield.

But, as is normal for unusual Pokemon, Roaring Moon is rare. Even in Area Zero.

This means you’re going to need a guide to help you find it with ease – and what do you know, I have said guide ready and waiting just for you!

Where To Catch Roaring Moon In Pokemon Scarlet

Travel to Area Zero, then teleport to Research Station Three. Follow the path northeast, as if travelling to Research Station Two, until you reach the waterfall. Then examine the pile of boulders closest to you to discover a hidden cave entrance – this is where you’ll find Roaring Moon.

You can also travel to this cave from Research Station Two, following the path down rather than up.

If you’ve yet to unlock teleportation between Research Stations, you’ll need to enter Area Zero through Zero Gate and ride Koraidon down to the waterfall.

Roaring Moon has a catch rate of 3.9%, meaning it won’t just be waiting inside the cave when you arrive – I had to hang about and fight other Pokemon before it appeared.

Should you be unfortunate enough to accidentally cause it to faint, Roaring Moon will respawn. However, it might take a few minutes for that to happen.

Apparently, this is the only location in the whole of Area Zero where you can find Roaring Moon, making it one of the rarer Paradox Pokemon.

Hopefully you’ll soon have Roaring Moon in your party, though if it proves too elusive you can always use Retro Dodo’s how to get Flutter Mane article to bag yourself a different Paradox Pokemon instead. It’s much easier to find and catch.
