Campaign Evolved already has Halo fans chomping at the bit, and now that the details of the Collector's Edition bundle of the game have dropped, everyone's grabbing their credit cards and thinking about eating bread and jam for the rest of the month.
Well, I should say grabbed, because the first batch of Collector's Edition bundles has sold faster than a bunch of fossils outside Tom Nook's shop. The Collector's Edition, priced at $199/£189, comes with some absolutely awesome extras that will get your living room ready for the ultimate version of the game, so if you've managed to bag one, then you'll be feeling pretty smug right about now.

First up, you need to know about the Premium version of the release, because the Collector's Edition comes with all of those perks too. You'll get a digital manual, a digital short story titled 'Halo: Hungry Buzzards,' and a digital artbook. You'll also get an Alpha Halo Armory Pack, featuring 5 Master Chief Armour skins & 6 weapon skins, as well as classic skins for armour and rifles, and the Master Chief’s iconic Mark V Mjolnir armour.

Ok, now it's on to the good stuff. Here's everything you'll get in the Halo: Campaign Evolved Collector's Edition according to the Xbox Website.
- 12” Statue of Master Chief.
- LED Cortana Chip replica with rechargeable cord.
- Concept Art pieces x 3 (11” x 17”).
- Physical game discs for PS5 & Xbox, as well as Premium Edition Upgrade voucher codes for PS5, Xbox, & Steam.
- Collectible SteelBook®.
- New version of the 2001 Combat Evolved physical game manual (in English, French Canadian, French, Spanish, and German only).
- All the features from the Premium Edition.
If you've missed the boat completely on this release so far, then Halo: Campaign Evolved is a beautifully remade version of Halo: Combat Evolved, the original Xbox masterpiece. It's been rebuilt from the ground up and looks absolutely stunning, the same story you know and love with visuals that will blow you away. There are three new missions too with the Master Chief and Sgt. Johnson, as well as more weapons, enemies, vehicles, and modifiers. There's 4-player crossplay online multiplayer as well as 2-player splitscreen co-op on console versions!
Pre-orders for the game itself are now live, but the current stock of the Collector's Editions of the game has sold out in less than 24 hours. You can sign up to be notified when they come back in stock on the XBOX website - let's hope they get some more on there soon, because I want that statue (and I don't want to have to pay extortionate prices on second-hand sites!).
All versions of the game are set to ship on July 28th, 2026, and you can also purchase the standard edition from Amazon.
