I feel like this handheld has been under development for a very long time now, with its first tease appearing way back in December of last year, and it has yet to be released. There are likely many factors as to why there's a delay, including the price increase of RAM that has affected the whole industry.
That said, a recent reveal from X user ForTheNext shows not only new images, but full-blown specifications and pricing of the upcoming retro handheld emulator, showing off what it's capable of and who it's targeting. So let's take a look.

This is a chip that I have personally never tested in a handheld device, so it will be interesting to see what types of performance it will offer. Likely up to Dreamcast and Nintendo 64 but only time will tell.
What makes this an appealing device is its form factor, semi-powerful specification, metal shell, glass front-panel, TMR joysticks and a price tag of 799RMB, which converts to roughlty $118/£90.
Which I think is very reasonable for a metal device like this, but it all comes down to performance and build quality as GKD has been very hit and miss in the past with their devices, I'll be honest. The image above shows a headphone jack, flat shoulder buttons and a very minimal look. It's been done on the market before, but I do plan on getting my hands on it, just in case it impresses me!
