I've said it so many times that it could become my catchphrase, but I love demakes. The way that you guys take existing games and figure out ways to capture their essence for consoles that came out decades earlier always astounds me, and I love playing your creations. Especially when they take me back to the glory years of the Game & Watch!

Lucas Cavanna has taken arguably one of the greatest games of modern times and given us the chance to 'enjoy it as it was originally intended' - in the form of a 1989 portable console. I think Lucas has used some poetic license there if I'm honest, but I've got to admit, it works!
Lucas' Game & Watch reimagining has 10 different locations to visit, 10 bosses, and 22 different enemies. There are 2 endings, plus a secret one, but you didn't hear that from me. And the best bit is that the game is available to download for Mac and Windows from Itch.io for free!

Controlling your character is simple - just use the arrow keys or WASD, and attack with either the Spacebar, Left Ctrl, or Enter. There's a downloadable manual in the style of a Game & Watch manual too which is a very nice touch - Lucas knows how to keep it retro!
Having my Mac screen turn into a giant Game & Watch console is amazing and something that our good friend Dr Tom Tilley would appreciate! Check it out right now, and be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
