I'm not going to lie - I've been spending far too much time smashing things to actually make any progress in DK Bananza, so the news of a DLC package feels a little premature where I'm concerned. Still, the new content takes DK and Pauline back to DK Island, where characters from previous DK games like Diddy and Dixie Kong can be found!
There's also a new Emerald Rush mode that promotes lots more smashing, which is what I'm used to in this game, after all. Still, the main thing I'm looking forward to in this DLC is hearing the music from Donkey Kong 64 while exploring DK's homeland. It's going to bring back some amazing memories... so much so, in fact, that I might stop writing now and go play my N64 for a couple of hours.
Just be careful when smashing up DK's face, alright? That's a legendary landmark right there. The new DLC drops today, so what are you waiting for?
