Back when we interviewed Jez San and the team at Argonaut about the return of Croc, I spoke about another one of my favourite characters that I spent a lot of time playing with as a kid - Buck Bumble. Jez said he was surprised that people still had so much love for Buck and that the cult following for the baddest bee in town was so strong. I asked if we would be seeing him again any time soon, but Jez's response didn't fill me with much hope.

In true Argonaut style, they have teased Buck's return with a pun on April 20th, otherwise known as 4/20. I'm not saying that this is because we pressed the team about Buck, but I'm going to go to sleep tonight thinking that we might have helped bring the idea to fruition.

For those of you who are in the know, 4/20 is all about grass, and I'm not talking the kind you find in your garden. The slogan 'a different kind of buzz on 4/20' has gone viral on X, with Buck appearing in a new, enhanced form with his trademark blaster. 'Bee sure to follow us' had me in stitches too, but I'm a huge fan of Dad jokes. Well played, guys!

If you've never played Buck Bumble before, then you're in for a treat. He's a bee with a gun who shoots down mutants enemies in mid-air dogfights (or bee-fights in this case). The soundtrack was my first foray into 90s urban garage music (or 90s shed music as my mates call it) too. If they do a remake, I want the same songs on there 100%.

As for now, that's all the news I have, but I'll be back with more and hopefully a review of the game as soon as we get more information!
