One of the best retro-gaming-themed LEGO sets of the year is already on sale in time for Black Friday.

Our UK readers will be happy to know that you can now get the LEGO GAMEBOY for just £44.99 instead of the normal retail price of £54.99 on Amazon UK. That's almost 20% off.

I've personally had the LEGO GAMEBOY set since it was released in October, and it's by far one of the best "small" LEGO sets I've had the pleasure of building, thanks to its nostalgic trip down memory lane, smart building mechanics and fun use of lenticular lenses.

The set features 421 pieces, which took me roughly two hours to completely build. And not to spoil it but you'll find there is some minor playability to it, due to the smart use of rubber and elastic bands under the buttons.

It's also a 1:1 replice size too, so it feels incredibly similar, coming with a display stand for both the console and the spare cartridge, so you can display it in your games room without it falling over.

It featured in our best retro gaming gift guide too, so you know it's going to please any retro gamer you gift it to this Christmas... including yourself!

Grab this deal at Amazon UK while you can for 18% off!
