Adidas Adistar Control 5 “Buzz Lightyear” Sneakers Take Your Feet To Infinity & Beyond

When it comes to pushing merch to advertise Toy Story 5, Disney is putting its best foot forward. They've recently released some Crocs based on Jessie's Boots and the Pizza Planet Aliens, and we've seen Jessie-themed Adidas Samba Jane shoes and Woody-themed Sambas thanks to Sneaker Freaker, but it's these Adistar Control 5 sneakers based on everyone's favourite Space Ranger that have got us feeling excited.

Wearing these Buzz Lightyear sneakers would make me feel like a kid watching Toy Story for the first time again. Can you imagine having these on your feet and looking down to think that your legs were on a secret mission in uncharted space instead of walking around the supermarket?

The mesh on these Adistar Control 5 sneakers represents Buzz's suit, the trademark Adidas strips his comms buttons on his suit, and the purple accents and sole match the purple stripes on his torso and hands.

I love the inclusion of 'LIGHTYEAR' and 'SPACE RANGER' on the front and back of the trainer too. They could be the nerdiest shoes I've seen outside of the sneakers that come out of Bull Air HQ, and while I'd love to write 'ANDY' on the bottom of them, I feel like these could be shoes that I just buy and look at rather than actually wear - they'll be a collector's piece in every part of the galaxy in a couple of years!

It wouldn't be a Buzz Lightyear shoe if it didn't have reflectors on it now, would it? People will see your feet from afar at night if they're driving or walking the dog with a huge torch, thanks to these strips. You'll be kept safe by the power of Buzz no matter where you are!
